Treating the rust

There was not enough support between these two crossbars so I added an aditional cross piece on both sides. I then ground down all the rust and coated everything with rust mort to kill the rust. When it does its job the rust turns black (dead).

Day #2 was spent removing the floor and pressure washing the frame.

End of the first day

Carefully removing parts without getting hurt

I bought this trailer for $300. It needed a complete restoration from the ground up. Most of it was original and intact. There was so much dry rot its a miracle it survived the tow home.
